Health and Safety

Wild Mob and its staff have all the health and safety qualifications and documentation to ensure our camps are run safely and securely:

  • All staff are first aid qualified and hold Blue Cards.

  • Wild Mob has full insurance cover for its projects.

  • Risk assessments and emergency response plans have been developed for all projects

  • Our camps conform to the Queensland Adventure Activity Standards for school excursions.

  • Satellite phones are always carried in more remote areas to ensure that help is always only a phone call away.

Wild Mob has an outstanding safety record due to our detailed planning, use of quality equipment and years of experience in conducting outdoor activities for students.

Staff

Our project leaders are highly skilled and knowledgeable, from various environmental management and educational backgrounds.  We require at least one teacher from the school to attend each camp.

Contribution

Wild Mob requires a contribution from its participants to ensure its ongoing sustainability.  These funds cover only the expenses related to each individual camp, and for larger groups can be reduced by the presence of more than one teacher to assist in student supervision.
