Marenke graduated from University with a Bachelor of Business & Communications. She has worked in Marketing Communication and Advertising for over 10 years and has held jobs at major Advertising agencies and Publishers, in Europe and Australia.

Since her experience at an agency with a sustainable business approach, her attitude of how to act towards a better environment changed. Putting her knowledge of Marketing towards promoting education, awareness and community engagement to achieve long-term impacts on Australia’s beautiful ecosystems, is her main responsibly.

About the Project

Moreton Bay is located on the East Coast of Australia, approximately 45km from Brisbane, Queensland. Moreton Bay is positioned where the warm tropical waters of the North meet with cooler temperate waters of the south. These factors combined with the large influx of freshwater from Brisbane river, gives rise to a wide variety of ecosystems existing all in the one area, rich in productivity and marine life.
